Is the nude drawing a sketch of Mona Lisa by Leonardo

A charcoal sketch of a nude women ,known as “Monna Vanna” that had earlier been attributed to the Leonardo da Vinci’s studio reflects alot like Mona Lisa.

The charcoal drawing has been examined by experts who now believe that it is sketched by Leonardo himself.'A charcoal drawing of a nude woman, which may have been sketched in part by Leonardo da Vinci, bears a striking resemblance to the Mona Lisa', experts have said.

“We are looking at something which was worked on in parallel with the Mona Lisa at the end of Leonardo’s life,” said curator Mathieu Deldicque.

“It is almost certainly a preparatory work for an oil painting,” he added, with the obvious inference being it is closely connected to the Mona Lisa.
