China sends 57 tonnes, India 107 tonnes relief material to Rohingyas

Due to huge number of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, the country is facing problems in giving shelter to all refugees.The UN and international aid agencies say around 4,80,000 Rohingya refugees have entered Bangladesh.

China sent 57 tonnes of relief material for Rohingya refugees who are in Bangladesh. The plane carrying the relief material landed at Chittagong's Shah Amanat International Airport on Wedenesday morning. Chinese Embassy official Jong Ziaju handed over the relief material to Chittagong Additional Deputy Commissioner Habibur Rahman.

India has sent 107 tonnes of relief material for Rohingya refugees to Bangladesh, which is expected to reach Chittagong today. Indian High Commissioner Harsh Vardhan Shringla and another officials will be present.
India aims to send a total of 7,000 tonnes of aid material as part of its 'Operation Insaniyat (Humanity)', Indian embassy sources said.

Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia have all sent aid to Bangladesh.
