26000 Posts to be filled in Police Department soon

Peddapalli, Sept 27: The Telangana DGP Anurag Sharma has laid the foundation stone for the construction of the one town police station, which cost of Rs. 4.5 crore at Godavarikhani here on Wednesday.

The event was attended by Police Housing Corporation chairman Damodar, RTC chairman Somaramup Satyanarayana, MLCs Bhanuprasad and Naradasu Lakshmana Rao and others.

While speaking on the occasion, DGP Anurag Sharma said, "We will soon replace 26,000 posts in the police department. He said the measures would be taken to ensure that 33 percent of the women's staff are in each police station.

After the Telangana state formation, the police department is continuing to work for peace and security. We are reconstructing the police stations, which are in ruins state".

He also said we have formed a friendly policing,so that the fear about police in people should be vanished.

The DGP said Ramagundam Commissionerate Advanced Building will be inaugurated shortly.
