Three trains came dangerously close on the same track

When a train stopped at a railway crossing after hitting a rickshaw, the following trains which wer on the same track applied sudden breaks but came very near to collision.

People inside the trains were panicked due to sudden breaks. Even the luggage from upper berths fell down and panicked people ran out of train.The incident took place near the crossing at the Cantonment, which is not far from the station.

First train which collided with a rickshaw was Duranto Express, which arrived at the Allahabad crossing at about 10am. The rickshaw crossing the track despite barriers being down. The rickshaw puller escaped unhurt and fled.

The Hatia Anand Vihar Express and the Mahabodhi Express were following the Duronto and their alert drivers applied the emergency brakes after spotting the stationary train.
