Abdul Qayoom Najar, top Hizbul Mujahideen commander killed in encounter

In an encounter near the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir top Hizbul Mujahideen commander Abdul Qayoom Najar was
killed in Baramulla today.

He was a resident of Baramulla district and had a reward of Rs 10 lakh rupees on his head. He was killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri sector near Zorawar Post of Lachiproa, when he was tryng to sneak into the valley to take control of the Hizbul Mujahideen.

Police said that Najar was sent to the Kashmir Valley by United Jehad Council Commander Syed Salahuddin to take control of Mujahideen.
