Mumbai, September 25: Bollywood Beauty Deepika Padukone is busy with the upcoming flick of Padmavathi. Recently, the filmmakers have released the first look and it's getting thumping response from the audience and critics alike.

The film also stars Shahid Kapoor, who will play Padmavati's husband Raja Ratan Singh, and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji. In the first poster, the focus is on the goddess aspect as much as the royal. In fact, we see Deepika standing in a temple, looking fierce, with tridents behind her.



If the report is to be believed, the Bajirao Mastani maker spent 3.5 crores just on the first day of Navratri. Yes, you heard us right. The day Deepika's look was released, the maker spent 3.5 crores for print ads.

The film releases on the 1st December has been making headlines ever since the announcement of the film.
