Telugu Techies Invent MuConnect 2.0

Hyderabad Sept 22: A group of Telugu techies and IIT-Madras graduates have found out an innovative solution for charging the mobile phones.They have invented MuConnect 2.0, a universal mobile charger which is the world's first cross-compatible, fast charging magnetic cable.

The team includes Amith Bysani, CEO, Abhinesh, Marketing Manager and Sharath, Social Media Manager from AP and Prudhvi, Operations Manager, and Chaitanya S, Supply Chain Executive from Telangana have recently floated the startup Supralax Electronics, registered in Anantapur.The startup would deliver MuConnect 2.0 to the customers.



Abhinesh has said that "MuConnect 1.0 was launched through Indiegogo campaign in 2016 and was backed 5,780 persons with $245,272 from 92 countries. We sold over 16,000 products that were manufactured at the plant in Pune. Now, the much stronger and smarter second version of MuConnect is up for crowdfunding on the same platform and we have got about $22,184 from backers abroad and from Indian backers we received Rs. 15,000 in India since Wednesday".

"The charger comprises of a Mu-pin compatible with lightning, micro USB and the latest USB-C smartphone ports and a cable. The pin should be inserted into the phones charging port. Both the components connect instantly whenever brought closer and charging begins".
