Two assailants acid attacked on Doctor

Vishakapatnam, Sept 20: Here a gruesome incident has occurred while two unidentified assailants acid attacked on a doctor at Daspalla Hills in Vishakapatnam here on Tuesday night.

In accordance with reports saying that The victim identified as Balaji Bhushan Patnaik and working as the doctor at Seven Hills Hospital. The incident took place when he was heading to home after discharging duties from the hospital.

The unidentified persons hit his car with a two-wheeler and poured acid on his face while he was coming out of the car. The face of the doctor was severely injured in the acid attack.

He sustained severe injuries and undergoing treatment at the private hospital. The victim will be placed under observation for 24 hours, said the doctors.The Police registered a case and took up the investigation. The Police monitoring CCTV footage and trying to identify the accused.
