H-1B visas back; US resumes premium processing

H-1B visa premium processing was suspended in April due to huge rush of petitions but it started again yesterday. H-1B work visas in all categories fast processing has been started by US subject to Congress-mandated limit.
The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to employ foreign workers in speciality occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise. The technology companies depend on it to hire tens of thousands of employees each year.
The FY 2018 cap has been set at 65,000. "If the 15- calendar day processing time is not met, the agency will refund the petitioner's premium processing service fee and continue with expedited processing of the application," the USCIS said.
