Hyderabad, Nov 12 : Today in Hyderabad a rumor was rambling at the city market, it shows that there is a shortage of salt in the market. The police were denied seriously to this fallacy issue.

Reacting to that issue, the Police Commissioner said, "In social media, some rumors have been floating that there is an acute shortage of common salt/table salt. Such news is absolutely false and baseless.

They added, some brats are spreading that there is less shortage of salt to make the people afraid.

They also said in Hyderabad, an adequate amount of salt quantities are available in the market, they have appealed people not to believe in such rumors.

"Strong action will be initiated against those spreading these rumors," the police says.

From the following three days due to demonetization the value of currency notes dropped, demonetization currency had triggered rumors are spreading to make effect on essential goods like salt.

It was happened due to shopkeepers' refuse inorder to give change when offered with higher valued notes.

The police appealed to the people not to react to this kind of fallacy issues.
