Banks accounts to be regularized

New Delhi, September 14: The Home Ministry has ordered 1222 voluntary organizations (NGOs) to regularise their bank accounts.

All voluntary organizations registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) report a single bank account in a statement.

It has been suggested that the banks have suffered a lot of difficulties since many companies have not been able to order foreign donations.

In this regard, the Home Ministry has made it clear that all the voluntary organizations should provide comprehensive details of their bank accounts.

If they don't submit the details they will take the action under the FCRA-2010 act.
