Arya Vysya Community demands arrest of Ilaiah

Amaravati, Sept 14: The Leaders of the Arya Vysya community have demanded on Wednesday that the government should take immediate action against Acharya Kancha Ilaiah, who publishes the book titled 'Samajika Smugglurlu Komatollu'.They also requested Chief Minister Chandrababu for immediate termination of the doctorate.

The Arya Vysya community leaders have met CM Chandrababu Naidu and given the copy of Ilaiah's book at Secretariat and demanding that the governments ban the book in AP and Telangana.

Meanwhile, Arya Vysya men and women staged a protest rally and formed a human chain at the Gandhi center in Nandyal town on Tuesday demanding the arrest of Ilaiah. They demanded his apology to the Arya Vysya community and banning of the book authored by him in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.



The delegates of the Mahasabha also submitted a memorandum to DGP Sambasiva Rao seeking to arrest Ilaiah immediately.

Jayanthi Venkateshwarlu, president of AP Arya Vysyas, said that the DGP responded positively to their complaints and promised to hand over the case to the CID.

Samithi members Ch. Bhaskar, Jagadeesh, Tirupal Babu, Nandakishore, and Ramana were present the meeting.
