HC issued notices in Telugu Academy division case

Hyderabad, Sept 14: The common division bench of Hyderabad High Court comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice Uma Devi accepted the petition of seeking to divide the Telugu Academy for Telugu states, which is at Himayatnagar here on Wednesday.

The bench has issued notices to central govt and Telugu states governments.



The bench was dealing with a petition filed by All India Students Federation, AP Council President Mahankali Venkata Subba Rao, a resident of Guntur district.

He said the employees' assets are to be bifurcated as this is listed as one of the institutions in the 10th Schedule of the AP Reorganisation Act 2014. The case is adjourned to October 3 for the response of the authorities.
