Freedom for Father Tom from ISIS captivity after 18 months

Father Tom Uzhunnalil who was abducted in March 2016 by the ISIS terrorists has been released. Father got freed due to Oman Government interference in this matter. Videos of father asking for help were in media, in May and December 2017, he asked Pope, Modi and Indian government to help him get released.
Today, Sushma Swaraj confirmed Father has been released and is being treated in a hospital in Oman. She also said that Father Tom Uzhunnalil will be flown to Kerala today itself.
Oman too confirmed the rescue operation of Father Tom on request of Vatican. Oman government even said Yemen and Oman together have managed to rescue Father Tom
