New Delhi Sept 12: Citizen grievances portal LocalCircles has conducted a survey on the implementation of GST. The results of the survey are as follows
* 1 in every two persons has reported a rise in household costs.
* 40,000 cumulative responses were received during the survey
* 54 per cent people said that their monthly household expenditure had increased by 30 per cent.
* Six per cent of more than 9,000 respondents said their monthly expenditure had come down.
* 51 per cent of the participants said their monthly food and grocery bills had increased by upto 30 per cent.
* seven per cent reported a decrease in their monthly food and grocery bill.
* A little less than half of the respondents in the survey said that their monthly
medical also went up.
* Traders insist on cash payment and refusal to raise GST invoice.
