APSRTC to run 1200 special buses during Dussehra

Vijayawada, Sept 12: The APSRTC plans to run 1200 special buses with an additional charge of 50 percent from September 21st to ensure passenger demand during Dussehra festivities. The RTC officials said that the Reservations are almost completed in the buses that are turning to different places according to the schedule.

Dasshera passengers will be forced to travel with additional charges on ticket prices. Most of the special buses are running between Hyderabad-Vijayawada and Vijayawada-Hyderabad and Buses from Vijayawada to several towns in Visakhapatnam and Rayalaseema. RTC special services will operate from Bangalore and Chennai.

The massive devotees will come to the Durga temple in Vijayawada especially on the occasion of the Durgashtami on September 28th, Maharnavami on the 29th, Vijayadashami on 30 In those days, a large number of buses would be run for Vijayawada.

"We are planning to provide services without any displeasure to passengers. The buses will be operated on basis of passengers rush," RTC executive director Jayarao said on Tuesday.
