Man troubled by wife, punches ACP, to be away from her

A man troubles by his wife approached Shipra Path police station in Jaipur and asked the cops to put him behind bars. He said “I want to go to jail…I beat my wife. Please lock me up". The man is, Yogesh Golya who shocked the cops with his appeal.

After sometime his wife also reached the police station and wanted to register a complaint against Golya. The cops then understood it is a marital dispute.

Mansarovar ACP Deshraj Yadav tried to mediate between the two and, in a friendly gesture, put an arm on Golya’s shoulders to calm him down. The man then suddenly punched the ACP , as a result his lips started bleeding.

The man was so irked with his wife, he wanted to go in jail at any cost so that he could be away from her.
“Golya suddenly punched the ACP on his face. As a result, the officer was injured. Blood started gushing out of his lips,” said Mukesh Choudhary, station house officer, Shipra Path police station.
