Amala's Second innings

Amala Akkineni, a familiar actress in Tollywood as well as in Mollywoood. She had ceased to do movies since 1992 after marrying Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Amala has already made her comeback to Tollywood by playing the much anticipated mother character in Director Sekhar Kammula's film, 'Life is Beautiful'.

Later, she made her comeback to Bollywood by playing a similar role but smaller character of Emraan Hashmi's mother in 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani'.

Now, she is set to make her comeback to Mollywood. According to the information from film nagar sources, Amala has signed a new Malayalam film titled 'C/o Sairabhanu'.

She will play one of the leads in this heroine oriented subject with Malayalam actress Manju in another lead role.

Amala will play the role of a lawyer in this film. Amala made her Mollywood film in 1991 with Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi Actors.
