Tips for protecting jewellery

Hyderabad Sept 7: Currently many people how to protect clothes, jewelry, footwear and books in the rainy season. Follow some of the tips to protect them.

Books: If continuous rain occurs then observe your book rack.remove all the books and dust them. Apply kerosene in the shelves and replace the books so that pests don't attract the shelves.

Jewellery: If people wear gold, platinum ornaments and go out in rain. The ornaments get wet.

* Rub the ornaments with the dry cloth and dry them under open air.

* Pack the dried ornaments in tissue paper and store them in boxes.

* Store the boxes in dry places.

Silver Jewellery: The jewelry turns black and the ornaments loose shine when they are exposed to rain.

* Add Tooth Paste to water and mix it and soak the
ornaments in the mixture for 10 minutes.

* Brush the ornaments and clean the ornaments with water and rub the ornaments with a dry cloth .
