Trump Scraps DACA, 8000,000 people effected

Washington, Sept 6: A shock was felt yesterday. US President Donald Trump yesterday has scrapped an Obama-era amnesty program.

US Attorney General Jeff Sessions said that "I am here today to announce that the program is known as DACA (Deferred Action for Children Arrival) that was effectuated under the Obama Administration is being rescinded".



Earlier under DACA work permits were granted to immigrants who arrived in the country illegally as children. Sources say that this decision would impact 800,000 undocumented workers these include nearly 7,000 Indian-Americans.

However many people have protested against the decision. They have demanded that it would impact the country's economy and their future was in trouble. Experts say that this policy decision as a part of Presidents election promise to make America great again.
