NDA is almost dead: Shiva sena

Mumbai Sept 4: Some Parties have criticised the government. National Democratic Alliance Partner Shiva Sena has criticized the Modi government over the recent cabinet reshuffle and expansion. Shiv Sena Lawmaker Sanjay Raut yesterday has said that "the National Democratic Alliance or NDA is "almost dead".He has also said that "the BJP remembers the party only when it needs some support."

MR Raut added that "BJP-led National Democratic Alliance exists only on paper. Whenever BJP wants some support like in Presidential election or in Parliament, we are remembered".

Rajyasabha member added that "We are not hungry for a portfolio or power. The reshuffle is a game of figures for political reasons and we will take an appropriate stand at a right time". Currently, Shivasena is a partner and member of NDA. However, the party takes a calculated approach and criticizes it the partner and has always been loggerheads with the party.

The party was unsatisfied with the cabinet expansion and was absent at the swearing in ceremony in the ceremony. Sources say that the Party has demanded more cabinet berths when compared to 2 posts demanded by JDU which as only 2 members of Loksabha.
