5 yrs old boy killed after Ganesh idol fell on him

Khammam, Sept 4: In general, Kids are showing more enthusiasm and are actively participating in the Ganesh festivities as long as nearly 10 days.

Here a tragic incident has occurred while a five yrs old boy was killed on the spot when a Ganesh idol accidentally fell on him during the Ganesh idol immersion ceremony here on Sunday evening.

The incident took place at a tribal hamlet in Kusumanchi mandal.

While coming to deails, The deceased boy identified as Tejavath Kittu(5),who belonged to Bhagavan Thanda.

According to sources,The incident has occurred when the idol slipped off a tractor-trolley while being loaded onto the vehicle.

The boy was accompanying his parents in the ceremonial procession and lamented about their son's death.
