Building collapsed in Mumbai

Mumbai, August 31: In a drastic incident in Mumbai, the death toll has gone up to seven in the five-storey building that collapsed near JJ Junction in Pakmodia street of Mumbai, here today.

Fifteen persons have suffered injuries in the incident. With the rescue operations underway, there are around 30 people who are still feared trapped.

This happened in the morning around 08:30 am at Mumbai's Bhendi Bazaar area. According to the available sources present at the spot, It was an 80 plus-year-old building. "There were around nine families staying in the building. Thirty people are feared trapped."

The Rescue operations have started and four people have been rescued, but at least 20 are still feared trapped, according to the police official information. Earlier, The same incident happened, in which 17 people were killed when a four-storage building collapsed in an eastern suburb of Mumbai.
