Supreme Court :Privacy is a Fundamental Right

New Delhi Aug 24: A landmark judgment has delivered by Supreme Court.The Top Court has today held said that Right to Privacy is Fundamental Right. All the 9 Judges Unanimously passed a Judgement.

Earlier the government has said that Privacy is not a fundamental Right and there have to be some restrictions. The court has said that the Fundamental Right will be under Article 21.

Judges say that all acts and rules made by the government which infringes the fundamental right then it would be struck down.

Experts say that the judgment would have an impact on the privacy of citizens.The judgment doesn't relate to Aadhar and all other cases.

Judges say that the fundamental rights would be subject to reasonable restrictions by the law.
