Collector Yogitha Rana targets Biometric attendance

Hyderabad, Aug 22: As we know that, Dr.Yogitha Rana is Hyderabad collector and she took charge of the Hyderabad collectorate on August 17th.

She warned district revenue officials that she will not spare anyone who is slack at work.
Soon after she assumed charge, Yogita interacted with revenue officials at her chamber.

Speaking to them, she said that every official in the district administration has to work with dedication and transparency. "I will not spare officials who show apathy in rendering their services. I would be obliged to get even more harsh if those who are slack at work do not mend their ways," she reportedly told them.

She also enquired about the status of government vacant land and those caught in legal tangle.

According to sources, she pulled up some officials for not uploading land details on the official website.

Now, She has been concentrating on the attendance of the district revenue department.She has choosen the biometric attendance technology to target the officials.

The biometric attendance was conducted in all areas of RDO and Tahsildar, including the district collectorate.Those machines had been set up in 16 Mandal Tahsildar offices.

This procedure already implymented in March month in the first time across the state, but it was neglected.

There are about 700 Govt employees are working in different districts of the district, while only 649 employees have registered their details for biometric attendance. Only 182 people have reported for biometric attendance till now.

The others are escaping by sayin that there are some technical issues are occurred.

The latest restructuring process is to increase the attendance of the employees and the district revenue sources have the potential to act as a liability.
