BHIM App cashback offer extended

New Delhi Aug 21: A scheme has been extended. The central government has increased cashback scheme for merchants who accept payment through Bhima App till March 31, 2018. Currently under the scheme

* Traders receive incentive amount up to Rs. 1,000
* Rs 50 for every transaction and minimum of 20 must be performed in a month.
* A minimum Transaction Amount is Rs 25.
* Customers can pay using UPI by entering IFSC code and scan the QR code.

The news was confirmed by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Sources say that the Cashback extension for BHIM App would promote cashless payment.

Bharat Interface for Money BHIM app is developed by National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). This app works on unified payment interfaces UPI. Digital payments can be done easily through this app. This app is available on Android and iOS platforms.payments can be made offline just by registering mobile number.
