Kotak 811 Account goes Digital

Mumbai Aug 21: A service extension would soon occur.Kotak Mahindra a Private sector Bank yesterday has announced that " customers can now open zero balance 811 accounts through multiple digital platforms."Earlier people had limited option of opening accounts via mobile app.

The bank said that we have taken this decision "With an objective to provide more convenience to the customer".They can now open a bank account through various digital channels, including computers instantly from anywhere in India.Kotak 811 account launched in offers 6 percent interest rate on the savings as against others which have lowered to 3.5 percent per annum.

Currently, the account opened can be used for a variety of digital services including digital payments, transfer of funds to Army personnel, etc.

Finally, customers are happy because they can open accounts from anywhere in the country.
