Utkal Express derail in UP's Muzaffarnagar

Uttar Pradesh, August 18: Breaking news has emerged in Uttar Pradesh state, Six coaches of the Puri-Haridwar-Kalinga Utkal Express derailed in Muzaffarnagar's Khatauli here on Saturday.

The local administration officials have rushed to the spot, and the railway officials are fearing casualties.

According to Sources, at least a 12 people were injured in the accident and have been rushed to a local hospital.

The train was headed from Puri in Odisha to Haridwar in Uttarakhand.

The accident occurred at 5:45 PM as per the local time, reports said.

The train, as per scheduled, was expected to reach Haridwar by 9:00 PM today.
