Govt launches Women Helpline

Hyderabad, August 19: Here is the good news for Telangana women's, because the govt will interduce the new innovative system to curb the sexual harassments on women's by providing 24x7 free service by dialing 181 tolls free number.
From this aspect, The Hyderabad District Collectorate will launch women helpline number 181 on Saturday.
To speak about the helpline, Women can complain about domestic violence, sexual harassment, dowry cases and eve-teasing in public places and work place.
From this perspective, the govt has released a budget of Rs 35 lakh by the Ministry of Women Development and Child Welfare.
The women helpline 181 will support women in distress. This helpline will function 24/7 and provide service to women at free of cost they can call or message to 181. Women Development and Child Welfare officer G k Sunanda said.
