GHMC officials fined a building owner worth Rs.50,000

Hyderabad, Aug 18: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC) officials have fined a building owner worth Rs.50,000 for releasing water onto the roads and damaging the stretches in Jubilee Hills here on Thursday.

According to the GHMC officials, the owner of the building, located in plot 308 and 309 in Jubilee Hills Road 25 was fined for releasing water onto the road and causing damage to the BT road in the area.

Meanwhile, the GHMC on Thursday launched its exclusive mobile 'Mosquito App – Hyderabad' to create awareness about mosquito menace among people.

Users can also win Rs 1,000 each through a lucky draw to be conducted every month.

Users have to register their names and address and answer few questions related to mosquitoes. After answering the questions, they have to submit the forms online and the same will be picked through lucky draw every month.
