Man killed his own brother over land dispute

Hyderabad, Aug 18: Here is a drastic incident has occurred while a man was killed his elder brother over a land dispute in Uppal here on Wednesday night.

While coming to details, The victim identified as Bandaru Yesu was working as an army officer in Bhopal. His family is residing at Padmavathi Colony in Uppal.

His elder brother Nagaratnam (56), is working in the Survey of India. The two brothers together purchased a 100 sq yards plot in the past. Later they had a slew of disputes and parted ways.

In 4 days ago, Yesu came to Hyderabad. On learning that his brother was in the city, Nagaratnam went to his home to settle the dispute over the property. Following a heated argument between them, Nagaratnam took a kitchen knife and stabbed his brother five times in the stomach in front of his family.

Yesu collapsed on the floor and was immediately shifted to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

Based on the complaint of Yesu's wife, the police registered a case and arrested Nagaratnam. The body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem and was later handed over to the family on Thursday.
