CM KCR to appoint Muslim TRS workers for various posts

Hyderabad, Aug 17: The Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has asked a report about the active Muslim TRS workers for nominating them to various posts in different corporations from Telangana districts.

CM KCR held a three-hour long meeting with the Muslim leaders of TRS and reviewed the functioning of Minority institutions here on Wednesday.

Present on this occasion were Dy. CM, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Mr. Farooq Husain, MLC, Mr. Fareeduddin, MLC, Mr. Mohammed Saleem, Chairman, Wakf Board, Mr. Baba Fasiuddin, Dy. Mayor, Mr. Mujeebuddin, Minorities Cell of TRS and others.

CM wants to fill up the post of Urdu Academy, Haj Committee, Minorities Commission, Anees-ul-Ghuraba etc. He requested the MLAs, MLCs, and MPs to prepare a list of active Muslim workers of TRS in the district. This report will be presented to Mr. Mahmood Ali and Mr. Mujeebuddin. After consulting Mr. KT Rama Rao, a final decision would be taken.

KCR reiterated that Muslims are with TRS and in 2019, TRS would come back to power with thumping majority. He reviewed the functioning of various institutions implementing welfare programs for minorities.

However, It is reported that CM wants to enhance Minorities budget to the extent of Rs. 500 crore. He also wants to give adequate representation to the district leaders of TRS. He gave a hint that more officials would be posted in the Dept. of Minorities Welfare.
