Hyderabad is now open defecation free

Hyderabad, August 17: Telangana Govt has achieved a big success here on Wednesday, as the Telangana Capital Hyderabad has been declared as an open defecation free ODF city.

In order to achieve this target, The Greater Hyderabad Municipality played a key role in the development.

The status was announced on Wednesday by the civic body after corporators of all the 150 wards gave an undertaking that their wards were open defecation free wards and sought them to be declared as ODF wards.

from this aspect, GHMC Commissioner B.Janardhan Reddy issued a preliminary notification declaring Hyderabad as an open defecation free city.
