TDP wins with high majority : Minister Ganta Srinivas

Kurnool, Aug 15: The Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resources Development Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that TDP candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy would win the election with a thumping majority.

Sounding optimistic, Mr. Srinivasa Rao told the media here on Monday that The YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party leaders are in a state of frustration with an element of defeat staring at them in the run-up to the Nandyal by-election,

Mr. Rao said that the people of Nandyal made it clear that they would vote for development. Unable to digest the growing support to the TDP candidate, the YSRCP leaders were misleading the public and resorting to provocative statements.

The opposition party leaders should not forget that the people of the State were closely watching them and their utterances. The outcome of the by-election would certainly be a slap in the face of Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Earlier, Mr. Srinivasa Rao offered prayers at the temple.
