Modi's speech duration decreased because of complaints

New Delhi, Aug 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a recent 'Mann Ki Baat' radio speech commented that he would end his speech within an hour at Red Fort, New Delhi on Independence day. His speech addressing the Nation ended up in the hour just as he said before.

This is the first time in the last four years that Modi's speech duration at Red fort was just an hour. Prior to the speech of 'Man ki Baat', when Modiji asked for suggestions of what he could speak on the day of Independence. Most of the people complained about the time of the speech.

On that day, he said he would end his speech on the eve of the hour. Modi, who delivered 65 minutes in 2014, spoke for 86 minutes in 2015, 94 minutes in 2016. This year, he ended the speech in just 54 minutes.
