Independence day gift by AP CM

Tirupati, Aug 15: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has hoisted national flag and participated in the celebrations of the 71st Independence Day held at Tarakarama Grounds in Tirupati here on Tuesday. On this occasion, CM Chandrababu has announced a decision to pay Rs 15,000 pension to the freedom fighters in every month.
Extending his greetings to the people of the State and the Telugu people living in other States and abroad on the occasion of the Independence Day, the Chief Minister recalled the sacrifices made by several freedom fighters like Palegallu of Chittoor district, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, Alluri Sitaramaraju, Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu and others during the freedom struggle.
He also claimed that Andhra Pradesh is the only State in the country which is providing security to the people in the sectors of education, employment and other prominent sectors.
