25 ISIS terrorists killed in Syrian attack

Syria, Aug 14: An attack took place recently. 25 members of the Islamic State jihadist group in central Syria have been killed in a commando operation backed by Russian warplanes and helicopters.

Syria Army has been fighting months-long battle to recapture the vast desert region that stretches from the country's center to the Iraqi and Jordanian borders from the clutches of the ISIS.

The attacks took place in the northeast of Homs province which is 20 kilometers inside Daesh (ISIS) terrorist place and attacks were confirmed by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Sources say that 6 members of the army were also dead.

Military officials have said that the " army has captured swathes of territory from the jihadists in the province".currently ISIS controls dozens of villages in the east of Homs located in the Syria.

Let's hope that battle would soon be completed so that peace would be restored in the country.
