Yanamala compares YS Jagan as Maoists, terrorists

Vijayawada, Aug 12: The Telugu Desam Party leaders have appealed the Election Commission on Friday to take action against YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his undemocratic remarks on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

YS Jagan would not have dared to comment that the Chief Minister be hanged had action was taken when he asserted that Mr.Naidu is shot in public, they said.

The Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Friday said there was no space in democracy for leaders like Mr.Jagan and his party. Maoists, terrorists, and extremists also did not make such comments.

He said the Opposition leader had 'false hopes' that he would become CM if Mr. Naidu was shot. He could not become Chief Minister though he collected signatures from Congress leaders even before performing last rites to his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy, he added.
