Andhra Pradesh, Nov.5 : Andhra Pradesh got No.1 Position in the area of Energy Efficiency, in the State ranked by the world Bank. The energy efficiency Implementation will give benefit to the state in obtaining Global recognition.
With the report made by World bank the leadership visionary, maintaining political values and leading the state with a good administration by Chandrababu Naidu helped the state in achieving no.1 rank with a score of (42.01) followed by Rajasthan (41.89), Karnataka (39.34), Maharastra (39.29) .
The World bank felt the measures taken by the AP state in implementing effective Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation evaluated the achievement of around 650 MW of avoided capacity and about 1500 MU of Annual Energy Savings leads to LED technology in Domestic and Urban Street Lighting Sectors.
"In protecting the future generations with a noble cause has made AP C.M. Chandrababu Naidu a good champion in energy efficiency," says Subash Chandra Garg, Executive Director of World Bank.
