Heavy rains lashed out Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Aug 09: The Heavy rains are once again lashed out the several parts of Hyderabad here on Wednesday.

The rain Starting at 2 am in the morning, the continuous down pour has inundated many roads in the city. The rain caused major traffic snarls and power outages.

Amberpet, Narayanaguda recorded 6 cm, LB Nagar and Narayanaguda 5.4cm, Bala Nagar, Moulali, Ramachandrapuram, and Musheerabad recorded 2 cm, Nampally 4.2.

In many places, the roads are filled with water.During metro works, The traffic jam will continue for hours.

Anantapur, Chittoor, Nellore, Krishna and Khammam districts and Ranga Reddy, Yadadri, Jogulamba, Medchal, Karimnagar districts reported moderate to heavy rainfall.

In addition to the rains will continue for another four days, weather officials said.

However, in Hyderabad, the rain stopped in 12 hours in the afternoon. Municipal authorities are going in the field, involved in the work of clearing water from roads.

Due to the low pressure in the south west region of Bay of Bengal and in the adjoining Odisha and Tamil Nadu, the rains will continue for two more days, according to Met officials.
