DYFI leader suspended

Kerala, August 08: A selfie a Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) leader has gone viral on the Social Media.

Coming to details, DYFI leader Thaiparambil Midhun alias Ambily (23) who caused the party much embarrassment by posting a selfie of himself in a police station, wearing the cap of the SI, is now suspended by the district secretariat here on Tuesday.

The selfie of the DYFI leader who got arrested in connection with the case of attacking BJP members had sparked controversies earlier the day. The selfie that did the rounds in WhatsApp groups has him at the Kottayam East Police Station, wearing the cap of the SI.

The attack on the BJP members happened the other day in Kumarakom during the practice rowing for the Nehru Trophy boat race. Ambily surrendered at the East police station on Sunday by about mid night.
