Indias new Vice pesident visits Tirumala Temple

Tirupati, India August 7: The newly elected Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu has worshiped the Lord Venkateshwara in Tirumala Tirupati Devasatanam yesterday. He along with his family members has stayed in the guest house located on the hill last night between heavy security arrangements.

Naidu was warmly received by the temple Authorities.he along with TTD executive officer AK Singhal and other senior officials have entered the temple's sanctum sanctorum. Sources say that his worship took place 20 minutes later the temple management honored the newly elected Vice President with a sacred silk cloth and Prasad.

Speaking to Media After his worship Naidu has said that "I became Vice President because of the blessings of People of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and especially the blessings of the God".

He has also said that "Lord Venkateshwara is my devoted god and I am worshiping him since the age of 13 years, and I will definitely fulfill the dignity of the House and I will discharge the responsibilities as fair and constitutional manner".

Former Minister has also said that "As Vice President of India, I would see a new chapter in my life by performing an entirely apolitical role". Finally he has said that "Indian democracy is great because it gives an opportunity to farmers son to reach the top position of the country".
