Congress launched Protest Rakhis against Modi

Vijayawada, Aug, 07: The APCC chief Raghuveera Reddy has appealed to Telugu-speaking women across the world to celebrate Raksha Bandhan on Monday by sharing on the social media the innovative rakhis made by the AP Mahila Congress against the BJP-led NDA Government.

Releasing the rakhi posters here, PCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy said the rakhi should be sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not implementing the promises made to the State in the AP Reorganisation Act.

"Use social networks such as the Twitter, Facebook, and WhatsApp to take part in the #RakhiProtest. The APCC has designed a set of protest rakhis for your convenience" said Mr. Reddy.

He asked women to just share or re-tweet the protest posts to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's Twitter handle @narendramodi and @PMOIndia.

"They may also post #RakhiProtest on his Facebook account, tagging Mr. Modi. Use #RakhiProtest to make the protest clear and effective. Mr. Modi is an ardent use of the Twitter. We believe it would be effective when Telugu women all over the world use this occasion to demonstrate their anguish," he said.
