Amit shah or Ahmed Patel in RS ?

Ahmedabad India Aug 4: A heated battle will soon take place.
The Rajya Sabha Election for Gujarat and West Bengal will take place on August 8. Currently, elections are held for 3 Rajya Sabha seats in the state and each member requires 45 MLA support to win the election.

The BJP has fielded 3 candidates Amit Shah, Smriti Irani and Balwantsinh Rajput (Congress rebel). While the BJP will win 2 seats and it is putting all its efforts to win the third seat.

Congress has fielded Ahmed Patel the political secretary of Sonia Gandhi. Currently the strength of Congress MLA is 51, however, 7 MLAs have been unsatisfied and may cross vote or utilize the option NOTA.

The IT departments have raided the Karnataka Minister who has given shelter to 44 MLAs and has seized RS 10 crore cash. However, the Congress is confident of its win because any independent member or smaller party may vote in favor of Patel.

Finally, the battle has become prestigious and the loose for Congress will have serious implication on the future elections of the country.
