Niti Aayog appreciates Andhra Pradesh State

New Delhi, July 22: NITI Aayog has appreciated the initiative of Andhra Pradesh in setting up of Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) units, which is specifically tweeted in this regard here on Friday.

According to the Indian Business Processing Outsourcing Promotion Scheme (IBPOPS), all seats allotted to Andhra Pradesh have been replaced, which bagged the first rank to replace all the seats.

Now the newly allocated 850 seats to the state. Niti Ayog made this tweet to Prime Minister Modi, Niti Ayog Vice President Arvind Panagari and other celebrities.

As part of the Digital India program, the central government aims to provide employment to lakhs of people in the country by encouraging BPO and IT based services.

NITI AAYOG has sanctioned Rs.493 Crores and distributed 48300 BPO seats have been allocated equally for all states. These were distributed to the States on the basis of population.

Under the AP, 15 companies, including Karvy Data Management Services Limited and Omega Health care, came forward to establish the BPO units.

Andhra Pradesh is in top place of replacing all seats. Tamil Nadu is the next place, Only 100 seats are left in the state. The Center also sanctioned another 850 seats in Andhra Pradesh as per the demand.
