ACB raids on Deputy Chief Inspector Gangadhar Reddy

Hyderabad, July 28: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials have conducted simultaneous raids on Factories Deputy Chief Inspector Yeddla Gangadhar Reddy and his relatives at the residences here on Thursday.

ACB sleuths have unearthed disproportionate assets to the tune of Rs.3 crore. The market value of the properties is approximately Rs.12 crore, according to a press release. Reddy was arrested and produced before the special court for ACB cases here.

The Officials said he acquired 85 acres of agricultural land, two houses, and eight house plots so far at various places. During the searches, it was revealed that Reddy had acquired the properties in his own name as well as those of his relatives.

The ACB found a duplex house at Kukatpally worth Rs.85 lakh, a ground plus two floors building at Nizamabad costing Rs.30 lakh, agriculture land of 85 acres in Nizamabad worth Rs. 55.4 lakh, and another agriculture land at Shadnagar measuring acres 0.13 guntas worth Rs.1.62 lakh.



Open plots at Hydernagar, Gajularamaram, Patancheruvu, Keesara, Shadnagar and Nizamabad, all worth over Rs.62.45 lakh were also found along with gold ornaments worth Rs.2 lakh and silver articles worth Rs.30,000.

The ACB officials discovered net cash of Rs.6.15 lakh in Reddy's house, fixed deposits worth Rs.17.25 lakh, investments of Rs.17.32 lakh in chit funds, bank balances of Rs.5.57 lakh, household articles worth about Rs.10 lakh, an Indica car worth Rs.4 lakh and two bikes worth Rs.1.50 lakh, officials added.
