AFMI invites Harish Rao

Hyderabad, July 27: Telangana Govt has been launched the Mission Kakatiya program, many of the states have been given applause for the Success of the Programme, now it's time for the International level.

the State government's flagship program 'Mission Kakatiya' is now receiving appreciation from international organizations.

NITI Aayog also appreciated the Mission Kakatiya.

The American Federation of Muslims of Indian Origin (AFMI) has invited Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao to participate at its annual convention AFMI 2017 on 'The Emerging Challenges to India's Secularism and Pluralism’ to be held at Addison in Chicago of USA during October this year.

In an invitation to the Minister, AFMI president Razia Ahmed and president elect Khutubuddin have expressed their admiration for the novel initiatives taken up by the TRS government in Telangana and requested Harish Rao to speak about 'Mission Kakatiya' and other programs of the government.

They lauded that the government has revived 17,000 tanks and brought an additional five lakh acre land into cultivation besides providing irrigation water to over 15 lakh acre under minor irrigation projects itself.
