AP DGP warns about Mudragadas Padayatra

Vijayawada, July 25: The Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Sambasiva Rao responded over the padayatra With Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham on July 26th, and he stated that the Kapu activists have not sought the permission for the Padayatra.

He said the loss of Rs 60 crore was damaged by the Kapu Sabha in Tuni and we have to maintain the responsibility of maintaining law and order. Anti-communal forces are burning trains, buses, and police stations. He warned that there was no objection to taking the law into the hands and also suggested youth should stay away from this kind of agitating issues.

He informed that Section 144 is being promulgated and warned that activities disruptive to the law and order in the state won't be tolerated.



The DGP further said that the police are not afraid of any threats referring to the 'lay siege' bid by some elements and made it clear that action would be taken against those who are suspected of any kind of violence.

Sambasiva Rao also made an appeal to all sections of the public urging to maintain equanimity and not participate in unlawful activities.
