Man committed suicide by inhaling Nitrogen gas

Hyderabad, July 23: In a gruesome incident, a 30 yrs old man was found dead by inhaling nitrogen gas in his car here on Saturday.

While coming to details, The body was identified as that of Nittala Avinash, 26, son of Manikya Prasad. Avinash, formerly a private employee at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, was a resident of Dharmareddy Colony in KPHB.

Police said Avinash was missing since the last three days. He is believed to have driven his car to the township, which he entered through an unguarded point and parked it among several other cars in Block No.35.

“He sat on the back seat, covered his face with a plastic bag, closed all doors and using a pipe, inhaled the gas,” D. Mahesh, Sub-Inspector KPHB, said.

Police said that apart from the nitrogen cylinder, which had a pipe from it passing through the plastic cover, a suicide note too was recovered from the car.

The suicide note indicated that the youngster was in love with a girl, whom he has not identified, and that he was depressed over financial issues as well. No one was held responsible for his death, the SI said.

Police have sent the body for post mortem and booked a case.
