HC invites applications for Law Clerk Posts

Hyderabad, July 21: The Common division High Court has invited applications from qualified candidates to replace the Law Clerk posts to provide support and assistance to the joint High Court judges here on Thursday. The Hyderabad High Court is common for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

While speaking to media,The registrar general of the high court said, "A new window of opportunity has been thrown open by the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on the directives of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad enabling fresh law graduates, yet to be enrolled as advocates in the Bar Council, to assist the high court as law clerks for a period of one year on a monthly stipend", he added.

The guidelines framed by the high court on the matter were accepted by the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, it said. The government order and the gazette notification and the application form in which the candidates can apply for the appointment as a law clerk to the judges are available on the official website of the high court, the release added.
